I Made it Through!

Another craft show that is! This past Saturday I was a vendor at the Fall Pitman Craft Show. I did this show with my mom who brought some adorable hand-knitted children's ponchos and adult and children's aprons. My mom and I have done craft shows together in the past and have failed miserably! She was beginning to think that she was a jinx. I assured her that before we just never did the right shows. So the night before both of us were cramming to finish up some last minute items to bring with us to the show. We were like dueling sewing machines at her kitchen table to the point where my daughter was getting annoyed because she could not hear the tv! Overall, I did ok at this show. I have done better and I have done worse. I did not make more ponytail holders because at the Haddonfield show they did not sell well. But I should have because they were my biggest seller at this show. It just proves that you will never be completely prepared with the right mix of items. I think the ponytail holders went because they were inexpensive and quite simply times are hard for most people...myself included! But my mom did AWESOME! She sold many of her things and had the best show she has ever had. So another successful show under my belt and my mom has been given renewed confidence that she does make adorable items that people do want to buy!
